One Oluwaseun Segun Oti, who goes by the twitter handle @hensennygold, has narrated how he mistakenly transferred one hundred and thirty thousand Naira to a Bolt driver instead of one thousand three hundred.According to Segun who shared his experience on twitter with the hope that Bolt authorities would see it and help find the driver, the incident occurred on Thursday.He also posted screenshot of the transaction he carried out using his Access Bank app, together with some of the screenshots of the ride he ordered on Bolt.In the screenshots, the name of the driver appeared as Saheed Olajide.“I mistakenly sent 130,000 instead of 1,300 to a bolt driver and he refused to pick up his and now switched off.pls guys,help me repost this till the @Boltapp_ng help refund my money.D @Boltapp_ng support are not responding also ..@Gistloversblog1 @instablog9ja
It happens (sic) 2day.”However, Bolt authorities replied with a disclaimer tweet, saying they frown at such unprofessional acts, assuring Segun that they had commenced investigations in the incident.”Hello, we take issues like this seriously. We have received your report and we have started investigations into this. A member of our team will contact you and will be in touch about the next steps.”However, Mr. Segun said on Friday that the driver, Saheed, finally returned his texts, telling him that he has spent the money. In the screenshot, Saheed added that Segun should wait till Monday to get a refund from GTB.“Guys …The bolt driver finally texted one of the number I have been using to call him since yesterday that he already used the money and he will be paying it back on Monday,” he added with some smile emojis.
